Default Advice on turbo inlet hose mod

hi people hope all is good. Im in need for some guidance in regards to my turbo installation. Basically the turbo i have has a 3inch nozzle on the housing therefore the inlet pipe will not fit on to it unless i change the pipe to a 3inch. However i dont really want to go down that route. So i have been thinking maybe i can use a 3 inch coupler that tapers down to fit the oem inlet pipe and use some clamps to secure it. I would appreciate any help what so ever.

Regard's
