Default hia lads (and girls)

just a quick hello, ive just got myself a 1995 turbo2000 completely standard apart from a few chavvy bits of c**p that are due to come off! lol
been cruising through the forum for a little while now and thought id better register now i actually have a scooby iv upgraded from a peugeot 306 rallye with a 3.0 V6 engine conversion (which broke down pretty much every week) im hoping the scooby will be more reliable? it feels a lot more solid than the french piece of....tin! lol although the scoobs isnt as quick as the 306 (yet)
anyway im rambling now so il see you l8r

Welcome to the site mate. Few mods and you should easy see more power then your peugeot, and as you said, should be alot more reliable for you if you mod it right, enjoy mate.

cheers mate, its just having as we speak a new timing belt kit, new water pump, new plugs, oil, and filter. hopefully that will bring back 2 or 3 horses lol have you ( or any1) ever been to scooby clinic? just wondering because they do a package ( new turbo back stainless, k+n kit, ecu remap and rolling road time) for £ 1029 all in and guarantee 275-280 bhp on my model. now iv no idea if this is cheap it does sound it and also what they are like quality wise?

Hi Lee, welcome to the forum. I've done the opposite of you and went from a Scoob to a 205 GTi

205 has been more unreliable but cheaper to fix if that makes sense

Anywho, Scoobyclinic have a pretty good reputation on here like a few other places - depends where your from sometimes or who you trust. Usually for a decent power upgrade on the standard engine you get a full decat/sports cat, Walbro fuel pump, (maybe) 3 port boost solenoid and the remap, which would add upto about what Scoobyclinic charge.
