Default What do you think of this car?

Im looking at buying a wrx sti Type Ra very soon. What do you guys think of the car in the link below?
Dose the price seem about right for the car and spec?
And its still on the standard clutch and gearbox which havent been replaced, would these start to go wrong soon as it has done 77k and is running 341bhp?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Thanks for any help.

Im not quite ready to buy one just yet,but i just wanted to know if it seems a fair price?
And if i buy one pretty much the same spec which is still on the standard clutch and box is it going have a few problems with the millage being 77k?
If i had the money now i would be very intrested in the car,im just looking for some more advise that the moment.

It wont be long now tho till i buy one.

It's a lot of car for ,imo, not much money, this example had been tracked/airfield days but was well maintained.
Only way you can tell if a car has box/clutch problems is to drive one from cold.

The white STI RA is a lovely car and is extremely quick. Had a lot of time and money spent on it. The previous owner was a member on here and it was his 4th subaru. The respray was 100% not through any accident damage.

It used to run on 18" Gold Rota's but the current owner wanted to put his mark on the car, and I really like it with the black wheels (and the gold one suit my car a lot better!!!)

No its not just you.
I'd steer well clear of that.

Plus, it really pisses me off that people can't do a simple proof read of documentation before uploading to say EBAY
Especially for something as import as that
The whole ad is riddled with errors both spelling & grammar, for example

P1 must be a scam. I've seen ones with dead engines going for more than that. They say it is sold now but I'm sure someone must have said something. Or someone genuinely got a bargain.

Nice car, but the white RA has FMIC and Simtek, supplied and mapped by JGM to just under 350 bhp (I'm biased as I would buy the white one if I had the money )
