Default Help !!! creaking noise driving me mad

hello,
can anyone please help...

I have a 2007 subaru WRX 2.5, 8,000 miles, bought 12 months ago,
ex-demo...

I have a really annoying creaking type noise which I am convinced is coming from the windscreen, Subaru tell me they have never had a prob with a windscreen so doubt this is the cause.
The noise is worse in the winter for some reason.
When I pull off my drive or travel over a bumpy road or speed hump, the noise happens, its like a dry creaking noise, sounds like it is coming from the windscreen, if I apply pressure on the inside of the screen I can re-produce the noise but is is very quiet when I do this.
Subaru say it must be the dashboard, they have had the dash off, or pulled it forward and placed a strip of foam (or so they say) inside to stop the noise, this has not helped.
They are going to have another test drive on Friday so I hope the noise is really bad....
has anyone else had this problem or any suggestions.

Thanks

I used to have a noise that came from the section of trim that holds the clock in on the dashboard.
