Default I need some advice please.

I really need some help guys n girls. This may not be the best place to ask as this is a Subaru forum.

I'm thing of getting rid of my 2004 WRX in place of a Focus ST3. I've really grown to love them and I could pick one up with only a small amout of extra money. I've started to get a little bored with Subaru life and maybe need a few years break with the view of buying one again in the future!

Power wise they are very close but I know nothing about the drive. Do they handle well etc?

There is one in a local garage I may try out.

Any previous owners on hand to give me some inside information?

Give it me with both barrels!!

+1 they have been known to return as little as 13-14mpg mate when they are driven hard. helped a mate out back last year and drove one back from cardiff to bridgend, as they were not our cars we thrashed them and we worked out the milage and the petrol used and we hit 17mpg.

Mate took me out in his and it was awesome. Wouldnt let me drive it but it flew round bends and had really aggressive power which it put down very well.

In reply to those so far, thanks for your input. To be honest owning a car like the ST3 or an Impreza for that matter has never been about fuel economy really has it. I only get 200-220 out of a tank the way I drive anyway so thats not really an issue. Its just how they drive. Can they handle the power?

@Gonzo....they do look awesome dont they!!

I think thats part of the appeal of buying a new car. I want a more modern looking motor.
