I have a my95 WRX. to remove spark plugs you need a 12mm spanner and socket to undo bolt on coil packs. then a long 5/8th plug socket. and a bit of time as its a fiddley job. i did not remove washer bottle just battery and air filter box. also found their was no need to try and remove bolt that holds coil packs in out of coil pack totaly just undo enough to get pack of plug as their is not room. it also a bit tight with ratchet when undoing and tightining up.

I bought a spark plug service kit from Halfords that helped a lot last time I did my plugs - thankfully I don't have coil packs on mine tho so I didn't have to remove them first. The kit comes with an angled ratchet and a locking extension bar - quite handy

I'll second the Halfords kit. All the extensions and the angled ratchet body seem to be well suited to the Scoobs awkward access.

Halfords Professional Spark Plug Service Kit 7 Piece from Halfords Price £22.49
