I would love a GTR, but the running costs and the restrictions i've read about that Nissan impose really put me off. Also read a bit about the gear box giving up the ghost.
I'm having a few considerations on whats next after the RB320, the MY09/10 Type 25 being one of them, see clicky - https://www.scoobynet.com/wales-26/7...g-grow-me.html
Or, keep the RB320 & forge it for 450/450?????

Depends which GTR if 34, then I'd go with Type25 for bang for buck.
If 35, then I'd probs give the 35 ago, but for some reason I still think I'd prefer the drive of the Type25, but prefer to be seen in the GTR.
So Type 25 for me really. Its a car I'm considering for next year. Great car for the money.

To be honest it is personal choice, if I had a spare 60k then a gtr (if we are talking the new one) if it was value for money then 26k all day long spent on a mk2 t25 so for me it would be a no brainer as I don't have 60kto spend so a t25 gets my vote

I think this is due to the fact, that a few people, with more money than sense, have been "making use" of the nissans launch control, attempting to get the qouted 0-60 figure..... also the small matter of ragging the sh*t out of them...
And many of the cars which have broken gearboxes, have been demo cars or owned by tuners.... which get ragged

Totally different cars..... but then you would expect that at nearly 100% difference in new price between the two.
Gearbox issues aside, it would have to be a GT-R. Any other choice would me mindless, unless it was because of personal taste.
