mine came from cyprus aswell, the wheel archs are black but under the boot area is not 
would the car have been undersealed first then the car sprayed

My 06 Hawkeye STI has apparently come from cyrus and the guy made note of the fact that this is one of the things that is not done to them over there. Along with Alarm, Immobiliser and Tracker mines been undercoated in the UK apparently.
