Prodrive linkage help needed...

Default Help needed please

Evening all, does anybody know what the visual differences are between a prodrive quickshift linkage and a standard one are ive just bought a prodrive item but the linkage looks identical to the standard part! the only difference is the shorter throw if anyone knows what the difference is i would be very grateful

That's what a quickshift does, gives a shorter throw.

I always thought that the prodrive kit gave a more responsive, precious feel!! i could have made a shorter throw with my hacksaw LOL. Sol there is no difference with the linkage then??

You have to use one.... the forward/back motion is much reduced, whilst the gate remains the same width. Took me a while to get used to mine....
