Default Lowering with mudflaps fitted?

Hi there,

I've got mudflaps fitted on my MY99 classic. I did plan on buying some eibach lowering springs, but I have a bit of a suspicion that the mudflaps may touch the floor with the springs fitted?

Has anyone else had this problem?

cheers.

Lowered 40mm on Teins here and yep the mudflaps scrape like a b**** whenever I go over bumps, slight ditches, down any slope (ie multistorey carparks) etc

It's only the front ones as there's only like 1cm gap, the back ones are fine and there's plenty of clearance there.

I bought the Performance Creation ones and they have another set of holes, so if it's too low for you then you can fit the flaps higher so there's more of a gap.
But personally I like the look of the flaps when it's almost touching the floor.

Get some decent quality ones and you shouldn't have a problem with them scraping as they should be able to withstand a fair amount of wear and tear!

I feel your pain dude, twice actually!

Mudflaps need to be an inch of the ground to stop em rubbing everywhere, which does become tiresome........and to ensure that you don't catch em on things when reversing, which is even more tiresome!

Fairly easy job to raise em though!
