Default mikalor clamps

worth upgrading to????

never had any issues where i've used jubilee clips, but now running a fmic and increased boost, so the chances of something moving are greater, wondering what people's thoughts are.........

unless the pipe needs uber uber clamping force,id say no,but they are good but not worth say spending £30 for 5 or 6 if jubilees are doing the job already

i use them on motorbike exhaust but thats clamping metal onto metal no silicone pipes onto metal

Don't buy hose clamps from any Motor sport based supplier. They will mark up the price big time.

Source the same thing, like for like, from industrial outlets & pay the true price. I got Mikalor clamps from my local hydraulic hose supplier for peanuts.

You do have to watch you don't overtighten them as unlike the normal hose clamps these won't strip the thread until you give them serious abuse & by then you will be crushing whatever is under the hose.

Whilst I'm sure they're good, at over £7 pound each is a tad excessive.

See what I mean.

It will be interesting to see how Agricultural compares to Industrial.
