Default HELP!!! Rays Lock Nut Key Needed!!

My key has fecking disappeared (probably my fault, but I'm blaming god cause he hates me) and I need to try and get it off without damaging the wheel.

Anyone knows someone in Ireland that may have a universal Rays lock nut or supplies them or is an agent or the Irish rep? Or even an english rep I could contact? I'm waiting on a reply from the guys I bought them off but there's no identity marking on the box. Anyone know how many different keys there are? Or are they all the same?

Please help!!!

It useses opposite thread to cut into locker and undo it mate. The rough way off going it and the way i do is to smack a socket over top off locker. It hasnt failed me yet lol

The "smack a socket over the locker" is what I did when I lost my key. It cost me TWO sockets, one split, the other still has a locker stuck in it

And then, when I took my centre gearlever surround off, I found the old key: it had gone down where the gear lever gaitor is

Sorry, it's been mad busy today.

No real easy way to do it unless you have the old packaging?

If you don't have it, then pop to the local motor factors for a reverse thread socket set (iirc Laserline Emergency Wheel Nut Remover).

No worries bob, what am I looking for on the packaging (I assume by packaging you mean the bit of paper with ray's stamped on it that came in the plastic case)? I thought there would be a code but the mechanic assures me that no code is written on the paper.

How many different variations of the lock nut are there, do you know? My mate has one but cant get a hold of it until tomorrow?

The smack a socket over the locker has always worked for me as well!!
Just recently had to do my girlfriends car,she bought some new wheels
for her golf that she's just bought and then found out there wasn't a locking key!
A few minutes later they were all off only a couple of quid for a new socket

Cheers, might end up having to smack a socket over them at the risk of the alloys. Fecking inovit redlines, twist socket set is too big to fit in the nut hole on the alloy. My last chance is a rays distributor near home that might have a key to fit, otherwise I'll have to belt the sockets over them so I can replace the brakes for a trackday on friday
