hi,
can anyone help im looking for an exhaust system for my 2006 2.5 wrx, ive looked through the forum at other threads. but can anyone with the same car say what they have had fitted and the bhp gained ? any help greatly received.

Depends wether or not your changing just the back box for sound or the full exhaust. Changing the full exhaust for more power with either a sports cat or decat will require a remap.

There is alot of choices, there is a very recent thread about the best exhaust and there will be lots of different opinions on this too. Alot depends on how loud/quiet you would like it

A full decat would be the way to go, would give you 270-285bhp with a remap.

Had a 3 inch revolution system turbo back full decat fitted yesterday also walbro 255 fuel pump new spark plugs and a panal filter , it is getting remaped on tuesday .

Another for the revolution 3" turbo back de-cat system, not sure about the gains as the first time my 2006 wrx went on the rollers it was modded to 330bhp/355lbs.ft
