Oil Traps
I regularly check my oil but keep getting 2 different readings from time to time, do these car have slight oil traps thats causes the readings to differ, what is the full reading on the dipstick, is the the 'F' mark or the cutout notch just above it?

Full at the F mark when cold, cut out notch when hot.
The dipstick tube traps oil and gives false readings. Some people advocate taking the dipstick out and waiting 10 minutes before taking a reading. Personally I am impatiant and I find blowing down the tube enables an immediate accurate reading. Wipe the top of the tube first and don't breath in or swallow, ingesting used engine oil is not good for you.

Correct, the car should be level.
Generally oil level is checked cold, hot level marks are unusual. The engine should be stopped at least 10 minutes when checking hot to allow oil to flow back to sump.
