I wanted to recommend a company called D M Motorsport in Caldicott close to where the M5 crosses the M4.

I have just had a replacement engine fitted into my baby (sti type R V5) as my old engine was on it's last legs and knocking it's head off (in fact I was told I should have a certificate as when they stripped my engine it was the worst thay had seen!).

I had a completly overhauled botton end with new:-

Nitrided Crank
Mahle forged pistons
Acl race bearings
modified oil pump
Eagle steel rods
cometic head gaskets

my heads were fully reconditioned and polished.

All this for an unbeleivable price and fitted too

I don't think I have ever met such genuine people that really care about customer service. My car was ready when they said it would be, I have had follow up calls to make sure all is o.k and to top it they cover the engine for 2 years against ANY problems.

The guy who owns the company incidently is only a group A rally driver that preps his own cars (scoobies) etc,etc. So you could say he knows his stuff.

(In the past I have had a bad experience with one of the Subaru garages/tuners that are regularly on this forum. I am just glad now to have found a company that genuinely cares about their customers (and not just the £ sign) and that are very very reasonably priced).
