Default difference between WRX and STi??

Hi,

Currently have a blob WRX...

Can any one tell me the differences between the WRX and the STi engine?

Was thinking getting some STi bits, but not sure if they are the same or not...

Regards,

It'd be a very long post to summarise the detail differences between the two types of engine, and if you're not mechanically literate a lot of it won't mean anything anyway. It might be easier for you to tell us what you're considering buying

in summary, stronger engine internals, better brakes, better suspension.

all down to your goals and car use, gearbox is the only big plus for a sti if your going for big power

The difference between a wrx and sti engine is just about everything, pistons, crank, valve timming, stronger internals, heads. Then theres the gearbox, center diff, steering, suspension (inverted on sti)

If you want big power start with a STI

Define "massive" and tell us which MY the blobeye is. STi Type UK got DCCD and wider track in MY05, for example...
