Default anyone match this

41.7mpg over 110 miles on the M6 in a hatch STI. It was at 50 and 60 all the way (lots of road works), but still pretty impressive.

I can only match or better that in LPG equivalents.

I done 310 miles on a full tank once.

is that 60 litres for a tank? if so that's only 23.46MPG. Try again! lol

I haven't been able to do better than 25.5mpg over a full tank yet.

Its uk type 05 sti.
That 25mpg was driving at a constant 60 mph with literally maybe three squirts 2 over take over the entire tank.
Average is about 21-22mpg :-( and if driven anyway erratically at all thats down to 18.

I had suspected that.
I think i once managed about 28mpg when toodling about between 35-50 mph for 100 miles or so of driving, with no traffic, and no stops.
I thought i should see 32-35 under those conditions.

I have a new post just started though called "help screaching turbo" so that may have been part of the problem all along, but has only come to light now......

Its genuine. To and from work is normally about 29. In a hurry down to low 20s.

Even 29 is pretty good.

If I could get that on my weekly commute i'd be happy.
I do 130 miles on a monday morn and again on fri eve, with next to nothing in between.
Its all A and B roads, and never have to stop.
So i could hold a steady 40-70mph.

that was after 1/2 a tank! and I'm currently running 45.3 after a bit of fun last night and 2 days of slow traffic coming into work.

Simon. fraid your disqualified under 60 60 rule. Any fuel allowed but your 0 to 60 time has to be less than 60 seconds.
