I shall give you some advice when buying a car, the only time you can specify the colour you want is when you order it brand new, aside from that, you just have to go for the best model available, and sometimes its not the colour you want

This is blue with the performance pack fitted (have you tried some speciallists rather than normal insurance?) and pretty much fits your bill.

Subaru : Subaru Impreza STI PPP

Or the subaru page has 1 blue STI with 21800 miles on the clock for 12750.

Used Subaru cars | Subaru (UK) Ltd Official Website

Oh there is this one that fits the bill except its silver

Have to say on this occasion I agree (sorry Tony). I've recently bought a black blob STi. First choice was either black or white (equally). I nearly bought a blue bug (Prodrive), grey Type R, blue blob (standard) but I'm so glad I held out and waited for a black lightly modded blob STi. Looking back, I'd have felt very envious everytime I saw a black blob.

My recommendation is if it doesn't quite fit or feel right, walk away. There will always be something else that comes along that does fit and does feel right, it might not happen overnight, but it will happen. At the end of the day, its your money, why shouldnt you have what you want?

(Again, sorry Tony )

My 55 plate Impreza STi PPP is for sale but has 42k on the clock and has the T25 chassis set up although might be removed shortly.

On a plus note in the past week it's just had 4 new Michelin Pilot Sports fitted, brand new Performance Friction front pads, cambelt service, new wheel bearings and all fluids changed.

Im really fussy with cars, i want a standard one with the low miles cause its less likely to have been abused and also i can start from scratch when modding it. anyone else like that? whats the longest any of you guys have waited before you found THE ONE

Before I picked my latest one up a couple of weeks ago, I'd started looking about mid June.

I think its fair to say though, the bigger the budget the better the options.

Your budget should throw open the door to lots of great cars.

As for getting one totally standard and start modding yourself, I can see where you're coming from, but one with a few simple/mild mods (done properly and can be proven so) can save a good grand and a half and doesnt mean that the car's no good and not been well looked after.

For example with mine, before I bought it, I spoke to Jolly Green Monster about the car, he mapped it in June this year

All the best and happy hunting!!

There's a blue 2004 STi here - have a search

Startin Group Subaru search for a used car

Only done 21000. Should be able to knock them down a bit on price, and will probably come with a years warranty - which you might not want if you are going to mod it.

Default FOR SALE

Hello, im not sure this is up your street but techinically my car almost fits your description.

I have a UK300 PPP however it has 77'000 miles BUT I have just had a new engine fitted in July / 1'700 miles ago with Proof of install and running in Oil changes etc etc

The body, interior, wheels, engine bay bar the new build engine is all standard

The only parts that isnt standard is the larger rear exhaust 2 new mesh grille covers and mesh fog covers and Private plate

The car looks the business and drives as it should, and by looking at your budget it you would still have almost half your budget left if you buy this.

The car comes with SCOOBYTEKNIX piece of mind, 9-10months mot, just taxed, soon new tyres and full valet in the morning

Car will be advertised soon, but though id gve you the chance to get in.... I'll get some photos when she out of the garage being valeted tommorow

I just found your post quite funny. Simple really. No offense intended

(as rbaz has pointed out, your motor is almost the complete opposite of what the OP is looking for and I thought your "technically my car almost fits your description" comment quite funny. Also, that doesnt mean I'm saying there's anything wrong with your motor either, just not what the OP has asked about)
