Just to settle a friendly argument really

I didn't think the P1's had the diff control, my mate thinks they did.

Can someone confirm

Prodrive took all the good bits off the type R

 

Took out DCCD for ABS instead

 

Yes all the good bits were removed from the type R before building the P1, climate control, folding mirrors, rear 2 pots etc

My p1 has got dccd, so get the pints in lol.... but then I had it put in, together with other good bits like the big rear axle and 2 pots. OEM is a fixed 50:50 split viscous centre diff so no diff controls as standard.

As for the other "good bits" - I really couldn't give a flying eff about folding mirrors - just extra weight for no valid reason as far as I can see and I have AC so also don't care about climate control.

 

Unless you have the white one,which has all of the above(except the dccd,got the wiring and switch),plus it has all the good bits that make it a P1.
