Odd request - anyone know what size the bootlid bolts are on a classic ?

Odd request - anyone know what size the bootlid bolts are on a classic ?

Just been fiddling with the car and noticed my boot lid only has 2 bolts holding it on ( one each side ) rather than 4 like its supposed to !

Anybody know what size the bolts are so I can get some ordered ?

Just take one off and pop into your local motor factors. i would think they are somewhere around an m8 or m10.

The head of the bolt is 12mm so would guess its a 10mm thread,the pitch is the same as most normal bolts on the car

Thanks both - was looking for the length as well ideally as it needs to be long enough to reach through the arm and into the lid the correct amount.

Just wondered if anyone knew offhand as a) my local motor factors is 8 miles away, and b) dont fancy leaving just one bolt holding the lid on to remove one to take in there.
