Default FUEL PUMP

hi folks because i dont have another fuel pump to compare to how do i no if my car has a walbro pump as wen i got my wrx 94 import was supposed to be just over 300 so i was told so just wonderd how do i tell if its got one before i buy one that i dont need

open boot and then take back seats out and its on the drivers side behind back seats, screw the circular thing out held in with screws and fuel pump is in there and is then easily taken out, if its standard fuel pump replace it with an uprated walbro fuel pump

thanks for replys whats the difference in looking at them between the standard one and the walbro??

I would have thought it will have walbro stamped on it .

if its a walbro it was make a nice Whineing Noise When the car is running

the walbros are ver small and in fact look to small where as the standard is quite a large one also there will be sum sort of connection in the wires usually a soldered joint with tubiung

yes mate once they get warm they start to make a nice noise can only be heard if you stand on the drivers side rear Quater
