What Car Shall I Get Now
Hi Guys,
I've just broke my Classic Impreza and whilst I'm saving for my Hawkeye I need another car which will hold its value and do all the things I want it to.
Its needs to be a bit different, I don't like joining the masses and driving in something everyones got, so focus are off the list.
I've got £2k to spend. I was thinking something like a MG ZS 180 or a Vectra GSI, something a bit sporty but a decent useable car.
Any ideas?

Not fussed if its jap or uk spec car, I was thinking RB special or STi so I don't have to mod it too much to have a 300bhp car. I modified my classic quite a lot to get my 340bhp and took quite an insurance bruising because of it.
Whys that?

i wouldnt buy an mg rot box or a vectra head gasket problem car, they will need scrapping before you get to sell it on, jap's the only way. why not a turbo 2000, you will always get your money back

civic 1.8 vti, same platform as the mg zs but much better engine, 170 bhp, 8000rpm.
very reliable, cheap to run and pretty quick.

I must admit going back to Jap is appealing, I can find a good cheap one though. I'd have to get a Jap import and its got to be a turbo. But all the ones I'm looking at are silly money, I was getting less for mine which was very very very clean and had loads of top quailty mods.

it all depends on how long your going to keep it my better half has a mg zr and its had 2 exhausts, 1 new ecu, because it rained @ £558 . the sills have started to rust and the sun roof leaks, new sunroof £600 . its only done 33 thousand miles. the head gasket hasnt gone yet but im sure it will do.
you can buy it if you want
