Well apparently im the oldest member on here? Anyway
Hi folks, im back...
After many (many) moons ago...im back on the owners club and should (fingers crossed) be picking up an Impreza WRX Wagon 2005 tomorrow, see link below...just have couple of questions to ask firstly...
http://www.vehiclelocator.co.uk/Vehi...ite=Stratstone
Its a standard car with OZ gold 18 alloys (black car) and im not sure if i like the gold so much...what are your thoughts? Think i prefer either gunmetal/black? Maybe will keep them on, will see...but may offer a swap/deal with someone if interested?
Also, anything i should look out for?
Cheers (it's good to be back)

Personally, I think gold wheels go well with a black car. I've got a black STi and the gold PFF7's compliment it well. A while ago I also considered a set of anthracite wheels when I needed a tyre change, but they were not available in a suitable offset that would be safe not to rub the arches, on a lowered car. If they're the Prodrive supplied wheels (OZ) you have, they're fairly expensive.
The WRX will run on normal unleaded but it's safer to use super in these engines.

thanks for responses...i didnt buy the black estate wrx in the end, and had nearly been tempted by a bmw 330 mid week, however im off to leeds this friday to look at a 2005 wrx ppp in silver, so fingers crossed.
it has standard alloys, but would be tempted to anthracite/matt black them to suit silver better...? anyone done this already?
