General Discussion may not be the way to go, and I apologize if it isn't, but I have a couple questions =]

I have a friend starting up a rally school, and he's sent me on a mission to find the best used Subaru Sti's or WRX's, that are reliable, and not too expensive.

I need to know what year is the best.

I've been told 98-02, but those are non-turbo, and I would like to keep the upgrading to a minimum.

Again, this is for rallying on gravel, dirt, you name it.

standard uk cars for reliability, Jap STI Type RA's are what you want for rallying though.
