2.1 stroker question

Default 2.1 stroker question

hi, ive recently bought an impreza and was told its got a 2.1 stroker kit, 550cc injectors, td05 20g turbo, how do i tell if its got a 2.1 stroker?? what is the size of a standard bore?? do standard pistons have the two circular cut outs for the valves??

You need to measure the stroke, bit tricky with the engine in!

the engine isnt in anymore, i just have the block sat on my workbench, the size of each bore is 92.5 mm or near abouts! i have a massive folder, i will have to have a look thru it

The 2 litre has a 75mm stroke and the 2.1 stroker uses the 2.5 crank, which has a 79mm stroke. The bore size of 92.5 just means it's been bored to the first oversize.
