Don't do what a mate did the day before part exchanging his scooby in.... wrote it off...
You can stop being kind to the tyres, clutch and brakes, but then that might not mean you drive any different to normal
You can drive upto Derby and let me have any remaining goodies off it for a good price...

I remember screwing the **** off my 205 GTi about 5 years back on its last day. The guy was picking it up at 8pm, and back then I had a 70 mile MWay trip home. Decided to take the "country" route, and hammered it.
No worries though, as the stupid lad that bought it that night wrote it off 2 weeks later into the back of a wagon I spent a bomb on it as well getting it quicker and better looking.
So no probs.

Remind me NOT to buy a secondhand car off you lot.
Take it home give it a clean in and out and hand it over knowing that the new owner will have years of pleasure.
If its going to the dealer THRASH IT (only joking) LOL

If it's a MY99,
pop near basildon and do an ecu swap with me (MY00) ...
Q. whats coming in place of the scoob?, that would effect my decision as to what to do!!. i.e last night of scooby, replacement more 'family' orientated car = meet with some fellow scooby owners for a last reminiss!!

LOL
My 'Teg saw the limiter in most gears on the way to the Dealers when I sold it last week.
8,900 rpm against the limiter through a tunnel sounds awesome
I know I shouldn't, cos someone's gonna buy it, but, hey Vtecs last forever and it still had 1.5 years warranty left
Timed a sub 6 seconds 0 to 60 (on the speedo) as well, so even allowing for overreading it was pretty damn quick.
Tyres a bit worse for wear though
D
What you should do is go for a long run and enjoy the car for all its good points
