Default Mahooosive spoiler!

What is the general opinion of the massive spoiler u can get for the 2001> scoobs? Im sure you know which one i mean. I have the oppurtunity to get one with a carbon fibre blade for a good price, but dont wanna look like a t-wat!

Does anyone have any pics with one on the car? As I havent really seen many to make my mind up!!!

Are you on about the standard STI rear spoiler? IMO it's mainly for show but it suits the car really well, so it's worth upgrading.

Not this one surely???

This is a spoiler with a carbon blade. The car belongs to friend's, they had the spoiler on for a few days then realised their mistake..

That is just plain ridiculous, the standard sti spoiler looks great and really suits the car.

Mines about as big as you would ever want on a classic, some days I like it other days, well i'm not so sure.

It is a genuine S201 spoiler with twin aluminum fins so not really after market.

I like that 'big' spoiler on the newage!

I suppose it must be of use if chargespeed made it to sell!

i would say yes to upgrading to a big sti spoiler, but not a massive over the top one like in the first pic.

id say if your wanting a spoiler go for a standard sti v7/8, if your wanting your car to look like a rally car replica go for the sti v7/8 rally style one with fins but doesnt look good on a standard car imo. id just go for a sti v7/8 spoiler no big **** off over the top one which you will regret down the line, i upgraded to a sti v7/8 spoiler on my wrx totaly changes the look of the back and wouldnt go back or change to anything else

From experience, not that I have a one of those silly looking spoilers or even ever fitted a massive spoiler.

I would not go any bigger than the STI spoiler. I have a replica one and whilst it is a good quality product it weighs a ton. I don't think a genuine one would weigh half as much put something like that massive one you are on about would weigh even more and would probably rattle over ever bump.
