Unhappy

I am now officially Scooby-less By choice, but it still guts me.

Sold to a dealer for less than £10k than I paid for it but he did give me £3k more than some so called specialists offered ......And the rotten sod dropped me off at the Railway station in my own car Funny how it never sounded so good as when it drove away from me for the last time

Oh well, on to bigger and better things.... (well bigger anyway )

Yes T'was me at Oulton Park (waiting for 2 hours for new tyres, that they then couldn't change )

Pick new car up tomorrow - wait for it - a BMW 330d Touring Automatic/tiptronic but fully loaded and still with almost 200bhp and 290 lb/ft torque

I swapped my P1 for a 2nd-hand Jag XJR Supercharger yesterday. Loved the P1, but needed to free up some capital for a new house. Jag has 322bHP and 378 lb/ft - fearsome beast. Spent the day baiting the hot-hatch brigade. Hee hee. It's the ultimate Stealth Bomber! Soon I will be speaking with a posh accent too, wot wot wot.

Gary,

I moved from a Scoob to a 330D Sport, and to tell you the truth, there's not a huge amount of difference! I imagine you've tried one and know what I mean.

Oh, and it averages 38.7mpg, regardless!

Nice one. Maybe we should get SDB to create a Diesel forum!

Wink

I had a Rover 220 SDi until recently. 104bhp and 150+lbs torque! The poor skinny front tyres couldn't cope with it all.

Monster fun against 2.0l rep mobiles though, just don't ask it to go round corners.

Not less than 40 mpg as well. Te he.

Hi Gary

just sitting in the same boat. Sold my Scoob two days ago including the BB you sold to me.
Will have a last drive next week.

On the other hand can't wait for my new beast, an EVO VI TME in black. But that's a different story.

Enjoy your new torque monster

Haven't kept reg plate - V8 was ok on the impreza, but a step too far on a 330 diesel just got normal plate on until I find a better one

If a Silver 3-series touring flashes you - thats me
