Can my seat belt be saved?
One of my rear belts has been pulled out as far as it can go but it wont go back in again. (bladdy kids )
There is not enough slack to pull it out an inch so that it will recoil back inside again.
Is there a way of doing it yourself? What do i have to take apart?
The belt has also slightly folded over as it comes out of the slot
Anyone?

Unbelievably i have fixed it
I only had to pop off the plastic thing that the belt slid through. I could see the belt really clear. I had to put a screwdriver through the belt so that i could pull it but it had twisted as it went through the plastic thing inside. I had to use a pallet knife to force apart the metal piece that gripped the belt but it went back inside like a dream.

I dont need to now as i have fixed it....myself
My daughter uses the off side rear seat behind me so i will save the fixed one for an unwanted passenger
It seems to be working ok but i have an MOT due this month so i will get them to test it. I have to try to remember hot to attach my rear fog light again too

Please bear in mind: For some reason the rear belts are different in the early models, I found out when attempting to put some rears out of my track car (92wrx RA) into my 98 Type R, You would have to swap the receivers aswell, as the metal push in part is smaller and a different shape
