My P1 was vandalised and had the following stolen,
Complete front bumper
N/S complete sill skirt kit
O/S complete sill skirt kit
Rear bumper lower skirts
All of the P1 badges
Side indicators on both wings.

It looks as though they tired to steal the rear bumper, but could'nt get it off and have damaged it. The *******S, damaged both front wings, vandalised the paintwork all over and have damaged both door lock/handles. Looks as though they tried to get into the car, but could'nt and to add final insult they have scratched the words AHMED and something else i cant make out into the bootlid and spoiler. Its bad enough them stealing the parts but WHY vandalise it as well, what complete and utter scum bag low lifes. I'm absoloutley gutted. This all happend this morning in the carpark by where i take my mountain bike out in solihull. Its at the top of monkspath hall road, iv'e been using it for years and never ever had any bother at all. It's a nice area as well thats what i cant understand. I'm offering a £500 reward to anyone who gets the above stolen parts offered to them or knows anything, possibly some one has recently got a new P1 front bumper and badges. Its a long shot, but i'm so fooking angry, i'll give anything a go

I hope to god the police get to them before you as it's no use you doing 10 years for murder.

The stuff is probably on some ******* Corsa/Saxo - P1 badges are sure to make it go quicker.

Really hope they get caught.

dont see many p1 around as it is without little low lifes doing this

if they did it properly,which i doubt,but if they did, they must of been there for a good 10/15 mins to remove all the bits/bumper,so guessing they didnt the bumper will be pretty mashed anyway lug wise for re-aataching it to their car so weird !

did they take skirts off via the bolts or just rip them off ?

 

u cant have nuffink these days my dad got stabbed for his prodrive type uk 3 young youths done it my dad was lucky to be walking again he had a phone call the other day and said the case is closed due to no evidence or finding them who did it i hope u geth the ******* who did it sorry to hear about you with ur car

Hi mate, could be a long shot but just seen this on ebay. No fittings etc would explain if it has been ripped off. Not sure where you are based, but I cannot see why anyone would have a p1 splitter in there garage for over year? Could be genuine but would be nice if it was yours.

Total to55ers its a good job they didnt try taking the rear spoiler, you can get them off but it just causes more damage to both the spoiler and the boot lid but these sound like total arseholes tbh

Any info as i said would be great, thanks for the response, much appreciated. Rig mate, all the fixings are still on the car, so it looks as though they just tore them off, WTF, i dont know. I still cant get my head round why AHMED (and looks like) PATCH, has been scratched onto the boot lid, and why they vandalised my car. FFS they must have made a right mess of the bumper and skirts to get them off without removing the fixings. I just dont get it.

Took it into the repair shop today, (the insurances reccomended). The guy took a photo of the mileage reading on the speedo and the tax disc, WTF is that all about. He took photos of the damage etc...but said the insurance wont go any further untill they have the photos of the tax disc and mileage.

 

think they do that incase they write the car off, they did the same thing to my03 sti last year. They search to find one with the same mileage etc, so they judge the repair against cost of replacement.
