Default Dump valve fitting kit

Hi all just a quick one, im picking up my sti v3 on friday and am wanting to fit a dv do i need a fitting kit to fit one or can i just buy the dv itself?
Also whats peoples opinions on the best dv to buy?

You'll need a fitting kit unless a vehicle specific one comes with the DV. I like Blitz, HKS and some of the Turbosmart DV's but it's all a matter of preference. I'd also stay clear of cheaper DV's unless you want to keep replacing them all the time.

You already have a dumpvalve dude, a recirculating one. Do some research

But as above, if you do want a vta dump valve (as I'm assuming you want the whooooosh noise), get a decent branded one like a Forge. I had a Baileys one on my old Scoob and it took 6 months for the spring to weaken. Saw a Forge one for £25 and had that bugger instead. Noticeable difference

its a recirculating valve he has not a dump valve

baileys are crap id stick with a good make like hks, blitz etc dont go for cheap crap cause they dont open on time and sound crap.

sorry yea im after the blow off type, so baileys are crap i take it? What about forge? Do i need a fitting kit to install one? Hks and blitz are lil to expensive for me to afford right now, about £100 - £120ish is what im looking to spend.

Sorry to disagree but they don't. Lot's of the fitting kit's to suit specific years/cars are sold as a seperate £30-£50 extra.

yes they do if u buy a dumpvalve that says for a early classic/late classic newage etc they come with the right hardware to fit
