Default Blobeye information

After a few weeks of searching for the right car, ive now found a 2004 sti blobeye

Ive been told its a uk car but it doesnt have the type uk badge on the boot like some of them and it also has the letting s u b a r u on the boot which ive noticed that some of them dont have.

Just wondering why some of them differ

Default Blob Eye

Hello mate, easy way to check if its a UK or a JDM (Jap Import) is look on the speedo and see if the 'K' has been blacked out where it says MPH or JDM KMPH.

Hope this helps

i have 2005 wrx blobeye

it has S U B A R U on the back with impreza wrx badge at the lower left corner.

has no uk badges anywhere apart from the intercooler which is a sti one which i fitted last week, hope that helps and settles your mind?

not to sure why some scoobs have type uk badge were others dont? would be interesting to find out?

Thanks for the feedback.... Sounds like some have type uk badges and some dont then
Anyhow Ive just put my deposit down on the car, its a 04 mint 30,000 mile wrx sti in blue, completly standard and well looked after example, bought from the subaru dealership who has assured me its definatly a uk car, so thats good enough for me

Thanks for the advice, good to know there are people on here willing to help out

If it's a sti std UK car it will have a sigma alarm, look for the keypad in the hinge down cubby to the right and below the steering wheel.

My son and me bought 03 STi's new, within 5 weeks of each other. His had the "UK" stickers but mine didn't! I never bothered to get the dealer to get them for me!
