how much is a new maf sensor for a uk turbo 2000 1998 think the one thats on the car at the min has a pirple sticker on the side which 1 is the better one to buy will i be able to put a green label one on or is the plugs different

 

They are all different ( plugs are the same on some, but they are specific to the car model and air hose size etc... ) so you need to replace like with like.

Is the MAF definitely gone ? it could be worth trying to give it a clean first with some MAF cleaner ( you can get little bottles of it for about a fiver on ebay ) as if it is just dirt on it then this may fix it.
