Hi

As above been hearing it recently and it's getting louder sounds like if some sort of bar is knocking on something not to good at expressing these things and only happens when i turn left or right on the straight its fine.

anyone any idea, been told it may be the drive shaft ??

is it only noticable at low speeds?? If so i'd say rear struts also

i think you need to establish which side of the rear if possible .... ie left or right. I think its unlikely both your struts would start to knock together. If it is the struts it will distinctly knock on the left or right side ...

Is it more of a loud clack click thunk click noise that's very metalic? Almost like metal ***** being ground together?

My MY04 had this noise just before one of the drive shafts bust. I could make it do it on command if stopped at a junction and then turn the steering lock full one way of the other. When I pulled off the noise was there.

Dont think it's from the back, beening hearing it from the front doesn't matter how much i turn it's still there full lock or small turn. on a straight it's fine. if it was a drive shaft wouldn't i have problems with it on the straight as well ? Dont have DCCD it's a UK 04WRX and havent been risking high speed turn 's so only notice at slow speeds.
