Um, so why is my 92 WRX called an MY93?
Does this mean that I can exchange parts with newer models?

Cheers guys. I've been wondering about this since I found out that it was an MY93 a few weeks back on a website (can't remember which one). Makes modifying my car much easier now that I don't have to worry about wrong parts being ordered.

Cool

www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm

It lists the MY's for the Japanese imports, and the dates when they were produced. All you have to do it match the model code off your VIN plate against the list and away you go.

Wink

it was registered in 1992 (probably towards the end) but is actually a 1993 model car. Check the seats belts at the bottom there soemtimes a tag which which tells you approx when it was built
