Hi chaps,

This car is for sale locally Subaru : Subaru Impreza WRX STi type r version 5
Does it look right? I don't think the grill is the right one for a version 5 but what about the rest? I appreciate you can't best see from the pictures but I know a few of you are eagle eyed!!

Cheers

No, it is the right bonnet. The vents are 22b replica's. As edd says, the only thing that raises the eyebrow is the front grille, which is either from a v3 or v4. Other than that, it looks spot on. Best get the chassi number, post it on here and let us sado's work it out for you.

Going to try to view it. Little wary of why it doesnt have the correct grille in case it's been pranged. Will confirm chassis code.

Any quick tips for me to look out for? Despite being here since 2001 I have never managed to get a Subaru yet!

Cheers

its a v5 rear spoiler, but it looks like it got a full respray, no stickers anywere , v3/4 front grill and the front cross member under the bonnett looks very clean for a ten year old car, you have to ask questions why?

ya it looks great and is most likely a v5, dont worry about the respray just make sure it has no chassis leg damage!

Does it have 105km on the clock or 105k miles? If she has been in the uk most of her life then she would have been converted to miles and that's high for the price (mine has 28k on the clock and cost me 2k less than that one )
Look and check everything, hpi etc
