problems after polar chip upgrade
i recently bought a polar performance chip and really just started using my car on longer journeys,
now the problem is , more than not im getting the cel on and the car wont boost at all , its like when it trys its hitting a rev limiter at around 3500 rpm
if i slow right down the light will go out and boost will be fine !!
any ideas
thanks in advance,
carl

Was the chip the only thing you fitted? Have you tried connecting the cut resistor back up to see it it goes?

coil packs goosed?
is the chip holder soldered in properly? is the chip in the holder properly?
try fitting a mbc and setting the boost to about 15psi to iliminate a boost control problem. mbc are not expensive.
