I got a can of 01G silver made up at Halfords to spray the wing side markers on my bugeye. Good match, and cost £10.99.

At halfords, do they have to match to the car, or can you actually give them the colour code and they just make it from that?

I remember when someone keyed my old Scoob and I needed some 559 red for it. Halfords didn't have it ready in a can, so never bothered. If I remember correctly, you have to request they mix it from their colour book.

For some reason, my graphite grey Pug's exact colour can be bought straight from the rattle can section.... £6.99 for a 500ml tin. Dunno why they don't stock Subaru colours without custom mixing them on request.

Anyone know why, just wondered
