Default Turbo upgrade

Does anyone have a ruff idea of the kind power & torque I can expect from a TD05-20G turbo? This will be fitted to a WRX STI V5 with 440cc injectors standard tmic for car plus full de-cat 3" exhaust & panel filter. Does anyone know what kind of response the car will have ie low revs mid revs top end revs etc? Would 550cc injectors be a better bet?
Thanks Steve.

I'd estimate around 360bhp with similar torque.
With that turbo, youd be better off with the 550's, an FPR and a bigger intercooler then you'll be knocking on the door of 400.

20g can flow between 380-400bhp with right set up, not 440's, go for 550's. Think you will be pushed with top mount, go for sti8 top mount or decent front mount like a Hybrid.Your in the midlands so go for Pat to EcuTek you. Also make sure its a true 3" and a open neck downpipe for best flow.Get 76mm intake and try if you can to get biggest induction kit you can down behind fog lens with as much cold air drawn on as poss
After all that dig deep as you will want more, plus brakes, clutch, gearbox etc etc

It wont be that laggy as it has a high efficiency compressor. This allows the turbo to run at around the same boost level as the TD05-16g

If your gonna run it with that spec your wasting your time! 550cc injectors are a minimum, up rated fuel pump and better than standard tmic will be needed! I'm not even sure if a panel filter will be any good on that year car ! Basically you need to spend a few £££ on parts to support the 20g

Maybe even Simtek ECU too to do away with the MAF as it'll be the weakest link at that BHP.

Nothing wrong with the maf sensors, you can change them 12 times before you break even on a simtek ecu, the biggest problem is the engine internals, they aint mega strong, 350 is a nice safe number, 400 will probably leave you with a big repair bill
