same thing has just happened to me on thursdat morning at 0445. my dogs scared them off but we have just upgraded our alarm system for the house now so we should be ok in future. but to anyone that is worrying about their car the way forward is with what i am having fitted tomorrow, top notch alarm system (clifford 650 mk 2 ) with proximity sensor and built in anti hijack with autolock. so basically if they do get your keys they will only get 30 secs up the road before cut out, also if you are ordered out at gunpoint then it also kicks in with the engine running from the door being opened. £450 fitted but well worth it, and it should (fingers crossed) slightly reduce my renewal quote. ps, also getting a turbo timer fitted within that price

Would like you to post again say in 6 months ref the anti hijack system. My car has the Clifford one fitted and it's switched off. Guy I bought the car off also switched it off - they are a f***in pain in the ****. But possibly you will get on fine with it... please keep us posted.

Please keep any comments about security weaknesses or breaches to a general level & don't give specifics.

I know the pro car thieves will already know but there will be some chancers that don't. Unless you tell them.
