Just sold my Evo VI, thinking of 2 door STi
Hi everyone,
I've just sold my VI (Mitsubishi : Autronic Powered Reims Blue VI (Updated)) and thinking it was maybe a bit of a mistake, but it could also be an opportunity to own a 2 door Scooby for a while.
Can anyone who has done the Evo VI > Scooby jump give me some input on what their thoughts were?
My main concerns so far are weakness of the Scooby engine. Especially as I'd like to run a comparable performance to my old Evo.
And another concern is reactions of other people as I've just read this thread https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...t-me-note.html.
I only once had a negative reaction to my Evo and that was nothing more than a glare. In France where I work people loved the Evo.
Cheers
James

i had two scooby before i went to the evo 6. there nice cars. handle like they are on rails. but lack something that the subarus have. they just seem a nicer drive and power delivery feels better.

hi mate, i had a v5 sti 4 door , moved over to a evo 6 (few mods running 350bhp), then to a sti type r v5 (modded this to 350bhp), and the evo was a much better car in every way
now got a wr1 ,wish i still had the evo , the only thing i missed about the subarus was the noise ,
thinking of going back to a evo ,just waiting for the right one to come along
