Hi,
Out of interest I dropped Credex an E-mail to enquire about the possibility of a group-buy, they are interested in talking

We get a discount on a sliding scale as follows (based upon the number of units we order)
5 Units = 10% discount
10 Units = 15% discount
20 Units = 20% discount
So come on, forget that air filter or whatever for the moment, get the thing secure first
Pricing is as follows (retail, 10%, 15% and 20% discounts respectively)
VTA Pager - £135 , £121.50, £114.75, £108

VGS Heavy Duty Smoke Screen - £279, £251.10, £237.15, £223.20

Am interested...... but not going to commit fully until we get a (rough) idea of the fitting charge.....
Considering most of the refferrals here are going to be scoobys then would that affect the fitting price?

Hello again Matt,
Both systems can be used with most CAT 1 alarms. All you need in the case of
the VGS is a negative trigger and in the case of the VTA either or both
negative and positive triggers. The VGS has the facility to itself trigger
the pager, a siren or voice module.
Both systems can be used even without another alarm. They can be triggered
by connection to door pin switches, the vehicle's internal lighting system
or a separate sensor such as ultra-sonics or microwave. The pager is armed
when the ignition is switched off and does not require to be disarmed when
entering the vehicle as it causes no nuisance should it go off (it can be
switched off on the receiver to avoid sounding at all). In the case of the
VGS installed without an alarm you would require a remote arm/disarm device
to prevent it triggering when the vehicle is re-entered (for obvious
reasons). We can supply all the add ons you might require to make the units
work without an alarm. You will find a list of accessories and prices on our
website at www.credexltd,co.uk.
