08 Sti With Afterburner Twin Exit Exhaust?
As in the title really. I would like to know if anyone has an MY08 STI or 330s which is running the Afterburner twin exit and silencer exhaust. I would like to know how loud it is and if anyone could do a video or direct me to one??

No sound links but...
It looks a LOT like the Hayward and Scott item which I think Rob84 has on his...
If he see's this then maybe he can help
The H & S version also needs a different link pipe - as slightly different angle where joined...
The design seems to say this is the best way to do it BUT comparative figures from this style and the Miltek are nearly identical. Maybe a little backpressure isn't a bad thing after all... (I'm sure some guru will wise us all up )

During back pressure testing of the Milltek system we actually ran a straight 3" pipe with no silencers out the back of the car. It made next to no difference to the overall back pressure

Thanks very much for the info guys
I did see the this exhaust needs a new centre pipe as it enters the back box by the diff as opposed to by the rear wheel.
I was only asking because I am thinking of making my own system for it (cat back) and was thinking of having twin straight through silencers.
I have already removed the resonator and while I was doing that I started it up with just up to the cat pipe in place. I was surprised by how quiet it was. The cat and turbo must help a lot. I don't really want to mess with a decat yet as it is brand new. But I do want it a bit louder, however not really loud just so it can be heard a bit more.
The more I think about it maybe I would be best to keep an oval rear box with simplified internals and a centre entry point. Then there is only one perf bend inside the box.
How much is the miltek exhaust?? it may not be worth my time to make one if it's no too expensive!!
Thanks for the info guys, will PM you Rob

I cant believe how cheap these exhausts are getting. Its almost not worth me getting my hands dirty for that............
I'm going to get the car up on a jack tomorrow and fit my front lip splitter so I'll have a look at the exhaust again, but it will be a lot of work. Having said that I do enjoy making them.........
Cheers
