Default Jewelultra Diamondbrite - Paint + Fabric Protection

I have just ordered a new car and have been offered the above for 200 quid. Does anyone recommend this or feel it is a waste of money? Never really ordered a car from new before!

let me guess . FORD. i got it and hardly used it, you would be much much better off investing your £200 in MEGUIARS products, it loves fords paintwork and is superb stuff (especially on dark paint or reds). ps. if you go to the ford fair in silverstone (usually august) they have a stand usually with discounted stock.

Meguairs stuff or Autoglym even is good too.

Just cos the stuffs stupidly expensive doesnt mean it's the best....don't fall into that trap.

No it's a Subaru actually a 330s. I use a lot of their stuff already from Detailed Obsessions very good company and great products. Basically is everyone saying its no better than a bi-weekly wash and polish / wax?

i stand corrected. tbh if it is dark in colour i would still go with meguiars or autoglym (the hi def wax from autoglym is also v. good)

Usually I say to salesmen when they try to sell these add-ons that if the paintwork is that soft/in need of protection then it should be free of charge and that to continue the transaction I will need it included in the sale at no extra charge to me. Should see them squirm!
