Default brake clearance question

hello,

i have just bought a set of 4 pots with 320mm discs to upgrade my standard 93 wrx and fitting them i have noticed the calipers are pretty close to the wheels, about 1mm clearance from the front edge of the caliper to the back edge of the wheel spokes.

they are standard p1 brakes and the wheels are subaru 17" speedlines, is
the clearance enough ?

any info please

cheers

carl

Do they have "Subaru" stamped on them?

are you sure they are 320mm discs as i don't think they fit standard 4 pots.

Not really a problem as the 4 pots with the 294mm discs are a lot better than the 2 pots (go for some goodridge hoses as well £50 and 5.1 brake fluid)

Its one of my 335mm brakes kits using the standard 4 pot calipers , I have run them as close as 1mm with no problems , its an old kit as I started doing the discs with curved grooves about 6 or 7 years ago , if you need discs or pads give me a shout
Cheers Ian
