Exhaust question
Hi All,
got my first Scobbie on Saturday, 2006 wrx sti eagle eye.
What would you recomend for an exhaust that is not to exspensive, not really after any power increase but would like it louder than the standard STI system, lets the burbble be herd etc.

Depends what sort of budget you have. After spending (swapping) for £11-12k of car, you don't wanna scrimp on stuff like this.
I'd personally go for a decent catback system (centre section and backbox). This shouldn't require a remap (to the best of my knowledge) in comparison to a decatted system which on a newage usually does.
Plenty about from the likes of companies like Scoobyworld, H&S, Blitz, RCM, loads and loads.
Quick look on Scoobyworlds site, http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog...oducts_id=1289
Cheap for what you get and the quality of product!

Exhausts are easy to fit. Couple of hangers and WD40 the bolts beforehand. Just make sure you got the nitty gritty replacements like gaskets and bolts handy.
Couple hours work max, done it myself before - quite enjoyable listening afterwards

My understanding is the PPP system sounds similar to an STi one.
I say this as I thought my old Scoob had PPP, but turned out it had an STi exhaust system on it.
PPP wil increase your power if you have the ECU and exhaust, but I very much doubt you'll get a noticeable sound difference.
All IMHO
