Default Which STI to go for?

Hi All,

I am new to scobbies and been offered a choice of two.

A 56 plate, 17000 mile WRX STI
And a 06 plate WRX STI Spec D.

Whats the difference in specs and what would you go for?

They are basically the same but the spec D has less 'in your face' styling (low spoiler, etc) and a more reserved interior (darker seats).

The 56 plate will ahve the black blue interior, high level spoiler, prob. gold wheel, look more like the rally car.

Although the spec D is higher specced leather etc the resale value on the normal STIs is higher so exact like for like the STI.... although they'll both lose a load of money so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

They are both a straight swap for my 330CI convertable on a 55 plate.

The STI is 56 plate with 17000 mile on the clock and under warrenty until December
The Spec D is 06 plate with 44000 mile on the clock.

Both silver, boh silver alloys etc.

just on that info alone it would be the STi. All depend whether you want the in your face look or the understated look. Both the same performance wise

As long as they are UK models they both have CAT1 alarm so they are hard for the scumbags to steal.

On that info it's gotta be the STI.
