Default mixing engine oils for a service oil change??

hello guys.

With regards to doing an oil change for a 2.0L none turbo (N/A) engine.

I already have 3L of Castrol GTX Magnetic 10W-40. As i understand this is top quality oil.

However i also have 3L of 10W-40 semi synthetic oil but its an unknown brand and it was much cheaper than the Castrol.

Am i ok to mix the two oils for the oil change or do you advice me buy another can of Castrol??? Iv posted this Q elsewhere but figured id ask you helpful folk as well!

Both oils are semi synthetic 10/40, you'll be fine unless the engine is highly stressed or driven in extreme conditions.

no extreme dricing or conditions! How often does an oil change occur. Is it once every 10,000 miles?

As said, you can mix oils but for the sake of buying one litre of Magnatec I'd stick with the one brand. Use the other stuff for topping-up if ever required.
