I thought they were around 1235 fully laiden... So I guess the weight of the cage cancels out stripping unnecessary stuff. I'd say that was about right.
Lose the aircon, that weighs a tonne! All the sound deadening can go, and a lightweight battery will help. Fog lights, rear wiper, and (almost forgot) empty the crap out of glovebox... ;-)

I've shed a few pounds, the stainless headers and de-cat saved a whopping 21kg!
Seats saved another 10kg, lightweight pulley set, 2kg, light weight flywheel 5kg, light weight wheel nuts, 1kg, lighter wheels 5kg, spare,jack etc 7kg. It all adds up to 51kg!!
I've not got rid of the rear seats.
