Default Is this the PPP exhaust?

I've just bought a 2005 WRX STi from a dealer, I was told it has the PPP fitted, but they didnt suply the certificate with the other paperwork as promised! If tried to get some photos of the centre section and downpipe (back box allready changed). Can you tell by these photos if this is the standard or prodrive exhaust?

If the downpipe looks like this:-

Then it's got the PPP fitted.

PPP has standard centre section for exhaust, so can't really tell, though that looks pretty standard to me. Back box and sports cat downpipe only are changed. The downpipe, as shown by Norman D's photo is pretty distinct.

If in doubt phone subaru, you will just need the VIN. I had no cert with mine.

Have you tried calling a Subaru dealer. All PPP fitting should be logged on computer i would have thought.

Second decat pipe looks ok. Heat shield is molded to fit so you would see the press of the second cat between the heat shield.

Has anyone got a pic of the standard downpipe?

Car was from a main dealer. But the sales guy said the certificate was with the handbook (which it wasnt!) which is why i'm a bit dubious!

Sometimes there is a sticker on the inside of the drivers door sill.

Check with subaru as said above, mine came without the cert but i wanted to see how much power it came with anyway after reading various stories on how some where quite under the claimed BHP. So took it for a power run just to be sure.

Found a sticker in the drivers side door saying prodrive pack fitted. Thanks puts my mind at rest a bit!

I've heard the PPP doesnt always make claimed power, but at least its a better starting place having the sport cat and fuel pump.

Have come from a 03 WRX PPP, not really sure if its much quicker, definetely feels more brutal though!
